1. With a suitable site chosen for the pool, the first job was to dig the hole for it.
2. The prefabricated pool was then put in place. The steps into the pool are in the foreground.
3. With the gradient from shallow end to deep end all worked out, the base of the pool was concreted.
4. Smoothing and levelling the concrete.
5. With the pool lined with tiles, filled, and the filtration system all working, we laid paving slabs around the edges and built a fence on one side.
6. The (almost) finished pool. At the back you can see the pool's weatherproof cover, which is wound on and off the spool by turning the wheel.
